LEGACY TO ORGANIZE ATP 250 IN ATHENS

Belgrade Open ATP250 originally scheduled to be held in Belgrade in November 2025 will be relocated to Athens, Greece.

With the same team leading the organization, the new ATP250, named Hellenic Championship, will take place from 1–8 November 2025 inside the iconic OAKA Basketball Arena.

This will be the first time in 30 years (since 1994) that an ATP event is held in Athens, Greece, making this one of the biggest and most high-profile sporting events in Greece in 2025.

This milestone event marks a new chapter for professional tennis in Southeast Europe, with Legacy International team leading the way. The OAKA Arena (renowned for its electrifying atmosphere and 20,000-seat capacity), will be transformed into a state-of-the-art indoor tennis venue, delivering both world-class competition and unforgettable fan experiences. Around 70 elite players, including some of the world’s best, will compete on indoor hard courts, bringing high-stakes action and global attention to the heart of Athens.

The tournament will offer an exceptional on-site experience: from full of life courtside to private suites, curated fan zones, and exclusive hospitality lounges. Meanwhile, live international broadcasts across more than 100 countries will connect millions of fans to the event, showcasing not only top-tier tennis, but also the distinctive energy and culture of the host city.

Since 2021, Legacy International team has organized nine professional tennis tournaments under various brands. The latest project, ATP 250 Hellenic Championship, builds on that legacy, with preparations well underway to deliver a world-class event in the historic city of Athens.

We look forward to welcoming the tennis world to Greece this November.
