Tournament Vrnjacka Banja Open was part of the ITF WTT 60 category. It was held from 18-25th September in 2022, and it was the largest, the first and only tennis tournament of this level ever organized in Serbia. It was held in the heart of Serbia, in Vrnjacka Banja in a picture-perfect family sports center “AS – Karovic”.

Besides promoting ITF WTT in Serbia and giving domestic female tennis players a chance to win international points by performing at an ITF tournament in their home country, one of our main goals in this project was showing that besides the capital – Belgrade, other cities and smaller clubs in Serbia have potential and infrastructure to support tournaments of this level.

In this way we continued in our path of promoting tennis and putting Serbia on the tennis world map.
